Sun Life Financial's ANNUITY 100 and FORTUNE Fund Choices Are Acknowledged As One of the Top Performing Funds and Fund Managers of the Year
(Hong Kong, 1 March 2004) Sun Life Financial (Hong Kong) Limited announced that the fund choices of ANNUITY 100 Retirement Plan (ANNUITY 100) and FORTUNE were acknowledged as one of the top performing funds and fund managers of the Year in 2003.
The MFS European Bond Fund, the fund choice of ANNUITY 100m, were awarded as one of the best performing funds for the 3-year category of the South China Morning Post Fund Manager of the Year Awards 2003. The underlying fund of FORTUNE Schroder US Bond Fund, North American Fixed Income, also won the best fund manager in the North America Fixed Income category.
Recognized in the three-year category of the European Bond Fund, the MFS European Bond Fund managed by MFS Investment Management was one of the fund choices of ANNUITY 100. The FORTUNE Schroder Bond Fund was managed by Schroder Investment Management Limited. Sun Life Financial focuses on providing customers with solutions for wealth management and life protection.
The South China Morning Post Fund Manager of the Year 2003 was organized by the South China Morning Post in association with Standard & Poor’s Fund Services, covering funds from different global markets and all asset classes. The awards are internationally recognized. 72 awards for different sectors were recognized from over 1,800 retail market oriented funds registered for sales. The 2003 Fund Manager of the Year was organized by Morningstar Asia Limited.
