Owner Benefit upon Disability or Death
If the Policy owner dies or is totally disabled before age 60, the basic plan and supplementary premiums will be waived during the period of disability. If this Benefit is attached to Rainbow Graduate, Sun Life Financial will pay regular contributions to the plan.
The benefits will last until the Insured turns 25 or the payment term of the basic plan ends, whichever is earlier.

Total Disability Benefit
If the Insured is totally disabled between age 16 and 60, the premiums of specified basic plans and supplementary benefits will be waived during the period of disability.

Advance Payment Disability Benefit
If the Insured is totally disabled before age 60, Sun Life Financial will pay an annual benefit by advancing the Face Amount of your Basic Plan every year, up to 10 instalments during the period of disability.

Tender Care Benefit
Tender Care reimburses medical expenses, including treatments provided by a Chinese herbalist or bonesetter, which result from injuries due to an accident.
You will receive a special daily allowance for up to 90 days if the insured child is hospitalized after an accident.
A cash lump sum will be paid to you upon the tragic death or loss of a limb or sight of the insured child. These benefits will be doubled if your child is a passenger in a school bus or other public transport conveyance when the accident occurs.

Child Accident and Illness Benefits
This benefit will pay out a cash lump sum to help you pay for medical expenses if the insured child suffers from one of the specified Critical Conditions such as Hemophilia.
A cash lump sum will be paid if the insured child loses a limb, his/her sight, or suffers from major burns in an accident.
