Sun Life Hong Kong
Sun Life Hong Kong is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. Having set up our first operations in Hong Kong in 1892, we are the pioneer in the financial services industry in Asia Pacific. Today, we are one of the leading players in the Hong Kong financial services market offering customers a wide array of protection and wealth management products and services.
Our 2,400 distributors use a multi-distribution approach to serve more than 400,000 individuals and corporate customers in Hong Kong. We also operate a Financial Café - a relaxed setting in which customers can ask questions and obtain information from their Sun Life consultants over a cup of coffee.
Our customers expect the highest standards of professionalism from us. To meet this challenge, all our consultants and distributors go through comprehensive training and development programs, and attend regular classes at a dedicated training centre.
As part of our agency development initiative, Sun Life Hong Kong has partnered with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) since 2003 to offer the Executive Financial Planning Training Program to our consultants. Graduates of the Program will confer the "Executive Diploma in Financial Planning" and can also apply for an IMBA program at the Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand through the CUHK.
We use leading-edge sales support systems to ensure our consultants are knowledgeable, informed and able to promptly respond to customer queries as and when they arise.
Our mission: To help our customers achieve lifetime financial security.
Our competitive advantage:
- We provide a comprehensive range of individual life products, including protection and wealth accumulation products.
- We have multi-distribution channels, including agency, brokerage and bancassurance partners.
- The investment funds we offer under the individual unit-linked product and MPF platform have consistently performed well.
- We are also an experienced third party administrator in the pensions administration business.
