• Guaranteed insurability option
  Significant life events, happy or sad, often entail additional long-term financial obligations. When the Insured celebrates his/her first wedding anniversary, has or adopts a child, graduates, emigrates, or faces the unfortunate death of a direct family member you can purchase a new whole-life plan offered by Sun Life for the same Insured regardless of your health condition at that time.
• Unemployment benefit
  Unemployment may occur at any time. During this transitional period you can apply for suspension of the premium payment for up to f 365 days so that you can focus on seeking a new job while fulfilling your financial obligations.
• Annuity option
  If you would like the certainty of a stable monthly income after retirement, you can choose to exercise the annuity option. By using some or all of your policy’s Surrender Value to buy an annuity plan offered by Sun Life, after retirement you will receive a regular monthly fixed income until age 100.

• This Benefit reimburses a full range of hospitalization and outpatient expenses incurred by an accident.
• A weekly benefit is payable for up to 104 weeks if you are confined to the hospital or able to work temporarily.
• In the event of death, permanent total disability or loss of a limb, speech, sight of hearing, a cash lump sum will be paid.
• The amount payable upon temporary and permanent disability, dismemberment and accidental death will be doubled if you are a passenger in a public transport conveyance or in a public building when an accident happens.
• If you do not lodge any claims under this rider for 12 months after renewal, the amount payable upon accidental death, permanent disability and dismemberment will be topped up by 10%, to a maximum of 50% of the original Face Amount.

In the event of death due to an accident, a lump sum benefit in addition to the basic plan coverage will be paid.

• This Benefit pays a cash lump sum on top of the basic plan coverage upon the death of the Insured caused by an accident.
• A lump sum benefit is payable in the event of permanent inability to work or loss of a limb, speech, sight, or hearing.

• If the Insured is totally disabled before age 60, Sun Life Financial will pay an annual benefit by advancing the Face Amount of your Basic Plan every year, up to 10 instalments during the period of disability.
• (Only applicable to LIFE Savings Plus)

• This benefit will pay out a cash lump sum to help you pay for medical expenses if the insured child suffers from one of the specified Critical Conditions such as Hemophilia.
• A cash lump sum will be paid if the insured child loses a limb, his/her sight, or suffers from major burns in an accident.

• Two years after the policy is issued or reinstated, whichever is later, if the Insured is diagnosed with a terminal illness with no more than 12 months life expectancy, we will advance the death benefit, up to 60% of the basic plan Face Amount, as a policy loan.
• The maximum advanced payment is up to US$30,000 per life.

The Carnation Pregnancy Cover provides comprehensive coverage against a wide range of pregnancy complications and congenital birth defects.

• Two years after the policy is issued, the policy owner can buy a new whole life or endowment plan for the Insured without any underwriting or medical examinations.
• When this option is exercised, the Insured must be aged between 24 and 45.

• Yearly renewal - SunHealth Medical Care Rider offers low premium¹ amount at the start which you can start your medical protection more easily at a younger age.
• We are committed to continuing to provide coverage to you, and the automatic renewal is guaranteed until the Benefit Anniversary on or immediately following the Insured’s 100^th birthday for the rider².
• Unique on the market - Guarantee your future insurability - When you reach the age of 30, 40, 50 or 60, you can purchase a new medical plan regardless of the health status at that time with guaranteed insurability³.
• The policy issue age is up to 75.
• Loyalty Bonus - While the plan is in effect, on every 10^th Benefit Anniversary, a Loyalty Bonus equivalent to 5% of the standard annual premium⁴ of the plan will be paid to you as a token of appreciation for being our loyal customer.
• Family Care Benefit⁵ - You can select one of the caring services including Parental Care, Child Care, Spouse Care and Pet Care at no extra premium.
• You can also add the Optional Supplementary Benefit to further reduce your medical expenses, and the Optional Female Benefit for mothers-to-be.
• You can enjoy the best No Claim Discount on the market simply by staying healthy.
• 2 pre-surgical out-patient visits⁶ within 3 months before the surgery will be paid for if you are unfortunately diagnosed by a doctor that you need to undergo a surgery due to an illness or accident.
• All related follow-up out-patient visits⁶ will be paid for within 3 months immediately after the surgery.
• SunHealth Medical Care Rider also covers home nursing, chiropractic, acupuncture and physiotherapy treatments.

• Lavender Lady's Benefit covers a range of carcinoma-in-situ and cancer, including breast, cervix uteri, uterus, ovary, fallopian tube and vagina, as well as common female-specific critical illnesses.
• A daily Get-Well-Soon Benefit is payable if you are hospitalized due to an accident.
• Free medical check-ups will be offered every two years in the first 10 years after the benefit effective date.
• With our Back-To-Beauty Benefit, you will be reimbursed for facial reconstruction and skin grafting expenses arising from an accident.
• The Mental Well-Being Benefit reimburses you for the consultation fees for bereavement therapy following the death of your spouse or child for postnatal depression.
• Complimentary Accidental Death Benefit is offered to your spouse and children.
• The optional Carnation Pregnancy Cover provides dedicated protection, covering pregnancy complications and congenital anomalies.

• Upon death of the policy owner, the basic plan and supplementary benefit premiums will be waived. If this Benefit is attached to Rainbow Graduate, Sun Life Financial will pay regular contributions to the plan.
• The benefits will last until the Insured turns 25 or the payment term of the basic plan ends, whichever is earlier.

• If the Policy owner dies or is totally disabled before age 60, the basic plan and supplementary premiums will be waived during the period of disability. If this Benefit is attached to Rainbow Graduate, Sun Life Financial will pay regular contributions to the plan.
• The benefits will last until the Insured turns 25 or the payment term of the basic plan ends, whichever is earlier.

• This Optional Female Benefit can be purchased with SunHealth Medical Care.
• This benefit covers medical cost arising from complications of pregnancy and congenital illnesses of newborn babies, and provides a medical check-up every 2 years with no extra cost.

• This Optional Supplementary Benefit can be purchased with SunHealth Medical Care.
• Reimburses 80% treatment expenses in excess of the maximum amount paid under the Schedule of Benefit of Hospitalization and Surgical Benefit. The reimbursement percentage will be adjusted to 40% for any treatments and services taken outside Hong Kong except hospitalization due to an accident.

• Tender Care, a child accident benefit, reimburses medical expenses, including treatments provided by a Chinese herbalist or bonesetter, which result from injuries due to an accident.
• You will receive a special daily allowance for up to 90 days if the insured child is hospitalized after an accident.
• A cash lump sum will be paid to you upon the tragic death or loss of a limb or sight of the insured child. These benefits will be doubled if your child is a passenger in a school bus or other public transport conveyance when the accident occurs.

• If the Insured is totally disabled between age 16 and 60, the premiums of specified basic plans and supplementary benefits will be waived during the period of disability.

• In the event of an emergency anywhere in the world, this benefit provides comprehensive cover such as transfer to a hospital, pre-paid deposit of up to HK$40,000 for hospital admission, emergency rescue and repatriation services.
• All services under this benefit are provided by Inter Partner Assistance Hong Kong Limited.

• One Year Term Benefit allows for greater flexibility as it is renewable on an annual basis.
