Individual policies

You can settle your premium payment either via direct debit from your HK dollar bank account or Sun Life Financial credit card. Company only accept to use bank account or credit card of policy owner, or third party including insured, policy owner's spouse, child, parent, sibling, grandparent, grandchild to set up autopay.

To set up an autopay instruction, please contact your advisor or our Client Service Centre at (852) 2103 8928 to obtain the application form.

Bank account autopay

  • Under normal circumstances, the bank autopay application takes around 4-6 weeks to set up.
  • Only HK currency account is acceptable.

Sun Life Financial credit card autopay

  • If you are the Sun Life Financial credit card holder, you may settle your premium by using the Sun Life Financial credit card autopay service. For autopay application, it will take 7 days to setup.
  • The transaction currency is in HK dollar.

With PPS, you can settle your premium payment anytime, anywhere, through the use of a touch-tone telephone or via the Internet, from your pre-registered bank accounts.

You can settle your premium payment through ATMs 24 hours a day at any HSBC/Hang Seng Bank ATM with the 'Bill Payment Service' sign in Hong Kong.

  • You have to select the Bill Type as follows to make the payment:
    1. Premium
    2. Change / Reinstatement Deposit / Lump Sum Investment
    3. Loan Repayment
    4. Deposit for Application
  • Bill account number: The 7-digit or 9-digit policy number.

  • Please keep the ATM advice slip as a receipt and allow 2 working days for processing.

If you are the HSBC / Hang Seng Bank account holder and have registered to their Internet banking service, you can settle the premium payment directly through the Internet.

If you are the HSBC / Hang Seng Bank account holder and have registered the phone banking service, you can settle your premium payment by using the touch tone phone.

  • You have to select the Bill Type as follows to make the payment:

    3. Loan Repayment
    4. Deposit for Application
  • Bill account number: The 7-digit or 9-digit policy number.

You may deposit HKD Cash and USD notes directly to any branches of Citibank in Hong Kong.

Important Note:

  • The designated deposit slips would be obtained at Citibank.

You can pay your premium with a crossed cheque made payable to 'Sun Life Hong Kong Limited' with policy number written on the back, and mail it back together with the 'Premium Notice' to:

You can make your payment at our Cashiering Office by HKD cash, cheque and Sun Life Financial credit card.

  • Upper limit for cash submission is HKD20,000.00 per transaction.

Group policies

Please make cheque payable to "Sun Life Hong Kong Limited" and mark Policy Number and Policy owner's name at the back of the cheque.

Send the cheque together with the return slip of premium invoice 5 working days before the premium due date to "Sun Life Hong Kong Limited, 8/F., Sun Life Tower, The Gateway, 15 Canton Road, T.S.T., Kowloon, Hong Kong".

MPF Schemes

DDA service allows you to make MPF contribution through a designated bank account to the Trustee's MPF account conveniently.

As soon as the Remittance Statement is reconciled, the MPF Trustee will collect the amount from your designated bank account according to the contribution date as specified in the DDA registration form.

Please deposit sufficient cash 5 working days before contribution due date.

To set up a DDA, please contact

Sun Life Rainbow MPF Scheme:

Please make cheque payable to “Sun Life Trustee Company Limited – MPF” and mark the employer name, the MPF Employer Number and contribution period at the back of the cheque. Send the cheque together with a completed Remittance Statement to “Sun Life Trustee Company Limited, P.O. Box 95868, Tsimshatsui Post Office” 5 working days before the Contribution Day.

Sun Life MPF Master Trust:

Please make cheque payable to “Sun Life MPF Master Trust” and mark the employer name, account number and contribution period at the back of the cheque. Send the cheque together with a completed Remittance Statement to “Sun Life MPF Master Trust, The Administrator, BestServe Financial Limited, 10/F, One Harbourfront, 18 Tak Fung Street, Hunghom, Kowloon, Hong Kong” on or before the Contribution Day.

Sun Life MPF Basic/Comprehensive Scheme:

Please make cheque payable to “Sun Life MPF Scheme” and mark the employer name, account number and contribution period at the back of the cheque. Send the cheque together with a completed Remittance Statement to “Sun Life MPF Basic Scheme or Sun Life MPF Comprehensive Scheme, The Administrator, BestServe Financial Limited, 10/F, One Harbourfront, 18 Tak Fung Street, Hunghom, Kowloon, Hong Kong” on or before the Contribution Day.

Note: Post-dated cheque or cash payment will not be accepted.

Please notify the Administrator 6 weeks before the next contribution due date of the new Payment Methods, should you wish to change Payment Methods.

ORSO scheme

You can deposit the contributions directly to specific Sun Life Hong Kong bank account at least 5 working days before contribution due date. Please then send the copy of the credit slip with a completed Contribution List to us by fax or mail.

To set up a Direct Credit payment facility, please contact Sun Life Pension Service Hotline at 3183 1888.

Please make cheque payable to "Sun Life Trustee Co. Ltd." for scheme under Trust arrangement and "Sun Life Hong Kong Limited" for scheme under Policy arrangement.

Mark the Employer Number on the back.

Send the cheque together with a completed Contribution List to "10/F One Harbourfront, 18 Tak Fung Street, Hunghom, Kowloon, Hong Kong" at least 5 working days before the contribution due date.
