MPF Reward Membership Program

Sun Life always put our Clients in the center and aim to be our Clients' lifelong partner. With that in mind, we are launching the “MPF Reward Membership Program” (Program), an invitation only program designed exclusively for selected Sun Life Clients with assets in Sun Life MPF. This program not only rewards Sun Life Clients with exclusive lifestyle privileges but also some educational campaign to equip you with MPF knowledge and tips.

Membership Tiers

There are seven tiers (Essential to Diamond Plus). The higher your membership tier, the better the lifestyle privileges and campaign rewards you enjoy. Your exact tier and benefits are always shown on the Program home page under the Sun Life MPF Mobile App.

How Your Tier Works?

Your membership tier is determined based on the total amount of your MPF assets under the designated account type in the Sun Life Rainbow MPF Scheme. Details of the designated account type(s) are set out in the Program invitation materials and the Sun Life MPF Mobile App.

When Do We Review and Possibly Upgrade You?

Each membership cycle includes two regular reviews and one renewal review. If you meet the requirements, your tier can be upgraded. Except during the renewal review, your tier will not be downgraded within the same cycle.

  • First Review: Assessed at end-March → If eligible for upgrade, effective from the 1st working day of May
  • Second Review: Assessed at end-July → If eligible for upgrade, effective from the 1st working of September
  • Renewal Review: Assessed at end-November → If eligible for upgrade and invited to renew, effective from the start of the next membership cycle

Membership Cycle

1 January – 31 December each year.
Upon successful enrolment, your membership remains valid throughout a membership cycle (subject to ongoing validity requirements*).

Membership Renewal

Membership does not renew automatically.

Toward the end of each year, we review members’ total amount of MPF assets as of the last working day of November and send personal renewal invitations to those selected. If you receive a renewal invitation, simply follow the instructions before the deadline to continue enjoying the program in the next cycle.

Good to Know

  • This program is by invitation only – we decide who joins and/or renews each year.
  • All member benefits are non-cash and can’t be swapped for money.
  • We may update, replace or remove member benefits from time to time.
  • If you move your MPF away from Sun Life, your membership may end.
