Organized by Running Aces Event Limited under the official authorization, and proudly sponsored by Sun Life, get ready for the“Sun Life Fun Run Presents: Pokémon Run Hong Kong 2024”that will sweep the Pokémon craze across Hong Kong! This exciting event will take place on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the Hong Kong Science Park.

Registration for this extraordinary adventure starts today. Each participant will not only receive an exquisitely designed Pokémon Run Race Pack filled with delightful goodies but also an event promo card featuring Rapidash.

Join hands with Sun Life to help people live healthier lives

Sun Life strongly supports the development of sports in Hong Kong and is pleased to title sponsor the "Sun Life Fun Run Presents: Pokémon Run Hong Kong 2024" this year, adhering to its commitment to promoting sustainable development and empowering individuals to live healthy lives.

Sun Life has continually advocated care and support for the disadvantaged in the community. Therefore, when registering for the event runners can opt to make a voluntary donation to Hong Kong Rehabilitation Power, a charitable rehabilitation service organization, to help improve rehabilitation services for people with physical and hearing disabilities, chronic diseases, and mental illnesses. On the other hand, Sun Life will make a donation to Diabetes Hongkong through this event, promoting the awareness, prevention, care and research of diabetes to help build stronger and healthier communities.

Starting from this month, there will be a series of exciting activities, allowing the public to enjoy the festive atmosphere. Pokémon Roadshow will appear in Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui on the weekends later this month, enabling families to play fun mini games to win Pokémon souvenirs and take photos with Pikachu!

In addition to that, Pokémon Treasure Hunt will be held in January next year, inviting the public to explore different checkpoints in the community to capture all Pokémons hiding in our corners and win Pokémon prizes!

Symbol of Success - Pokémon Finisher Medal

Pokémon Run event offers three different race distances and various categories for participants to choose from. These include the 5km and 3km individual categories, as well as the Team of 2 category for both distances. We highly recommend joining the Team of 2 category, where you can participate with your friend/family and enjoy the fun of Pokémon Run together, creating unforgettable memories. For a shorter distance of 1.5km, you can choose between the individual category or the Family Team of 2 category, which is perfect for adults teaming up with children aged 3 or above to enjoy a family sports experience.

All participants who complete the race will receive an e-certificate of completion and a Pokémon Finisher Medal. This medal features the iconic red and white Poké Ball along with a cute running Pikachu design, making it a delightful collector's item. Are you all ready to embark on an adventure with Pokémon?

 Victory Cup - First Group of the 5km Race

The First Group of the 5km race is perfect for runners who are eager to test their limits. The event offers three age categories within the First Group of the 5km race (starting at 8:00 am), where participants compete for the top three positions based on age and gender. Both the male and female categories are further divided into three age groups: Evolution Group (16-34 years old), Talent Group (35-44 years old), and Powerful Group (45 years old or above).

Pokémon Run Carnival 

This year, Pokémon Run will feature a "Pokémon Run Carnival" and a Pokémon Meet and Greet session, where participants will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly! And of course, Pikachu will be there to meet and greet the attendees. Let’s find out how many Pikachu you will meet on the event day!

Moreover, there will be multiple Pokémon game booths that will immerse everyone in the festive vibe of the Pokémon Carnival. There will also be a 6-meter-tall inflatable Pikachu, along with other inflatable Pokémon and Pokémon photo spots. Pokémon fans, you definitely don't want to miss out on all the excitement!
