Security Alerts: Sun Life Alerts the Public of Suspected Fraudulent Promotional Activities

Hong Kong, May 14, 2025 – Sun Life Hong Kong Limited (“Sun Life”) would like to alert the general public and Sun Life Clients to stay vigilant about fraudulent promotional activities under the name "永明彩險 (永明金融)".

Sun Life reiterates it has no connection to these unauthorized social media accounts and its associated fraudulent promotional activities. Sun Life Clients and the public are reminded to stay vigilant and not to provide their personal or account information, or to transfer payment to unofficial or unverified websites or platforms purported to be in connection with Sun Life.

If Sun Life Clients and the public suspect that they may have disclosed any personal information or have conducted any financial transactions through the fraudsters, they should immediately contact the Hong Kong Police Force Anti-Deception Coordination Centre at (852) 18222.

Sun Life Clients and the public should always verify the authenticity of financial services and social media accounts before engaging with such services and/or accounts so to protect themselves from scams.
