Sun Life Builds New “HNW Value-Added Service ECO system” with comprehensive high quality services

First-in-market concept of “Family Concierge” to take care Clients and their family

Hong Kong, July 3, 2024 - Sun Life announced that it has built a “HNW Value-Added Service ECO system” to provide a comprehensive suite of superior services to high-net-worth Clients in three major aspects: “Health”, “Enhancement”, and “Value Creation”. Sun Life has also partnered with HealthMutual Group to build a high-end medical network, helping our Clients to access the high quality medical support service from CUHK Medical Centre, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong and other private hospitals in Hong Kong, as well as private hospitals and Class 3A public hospitals across Mainland China through eSunPro1, a healthcare service platform (“eSunPro”). eSunPro1 also introduces the first-in-market concept of “Family Concierge”, extending the designated value-added services to family members of eligible Clients. Through the comprehensive HNW Value-Added Service ECO system and a series of excellent products and services, Sun Life helps high-net-worth Clients to protect their health, preserve assets and pass on wealth.

The Hong Kong SAR Government launched multiple policy measures last year to support the development of the family offices in Hong Kong. The recently launched "New Capital Investment Entrant Scheme"2 further reflects its dedication to bolstering the growth of Hong Kong's asset and wealth management, financial services, and related professional sectors and facilitating high quality development. To meet the diverse needs of high-net-worth and family office Clients in wealth management and health protection, Sun Life's HNW Value-Added Service ECO system encompasses three major aspects: “Health”, “Enhancement”, and “Value Creation”.

1) “Health”: High-quality medical support services to help our Clients and their families live healthier lives

  • Through the high-end medical network of healthcare service platform eSunPro1, Clients can access high quality medical services from CUHK Medical Centre, Gleneagles Hospital Hong Kong, and other private hospitals in Hong Kong. The hospitals’ high-quality multidisciplinary teams will provide medical solutions to qualified Clients1, with their expertise on common diseases including cancer, stroke, heart diseases and chronic geriatric diseases, meeting Clients’ needs of support on early screening, diagnosis, treatment and recovery support;
  • eSunPro1 provides high quality medical services and support to eligible Clients and their families through the first-in-market concept of “Family Concierge”;
  • The support services also include a series of health seminars by doctors and nutritionists to fully support Clients live healthier lives; and
  • eSunPro1 provides a dedicated medical network for the Greater Bay Area enables Clients to be referred to well-known medical institutions in the Greater Bay Area for examination and treatment, while receiving proper support.

 

2) “Enhancement”: Launch of Legacy Academy to enhance the capabilities of financial advisors to provide high-end services

  • Sun Life launched the first family office training certificate courses in Hong Kong in collaboration with the Institute of Continuing and Professional Education of The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong;
  • Various professional institutions, renowned fund companies, international entrepreneurs, and local family businesses are invited to provide professional education and training regularly on trusts, wills, corporate keyman insurance, and tax regulations in various regions.

 

3) “Value Creation”: Offering high-net-worth Clients a range of exclusive high-end, value-added service referral

  • Sun Life’s diverse suite of savings, life, and investment-linked insurance products can comprehensively address Clients’ issues in trust, tax, or legal matters. Exclusive plans are tailored for Clients with value-added service referrals provided according to their needs, helping Clients effectively preserve, accumulate, increase and pass on their assets.
