Hong Kong, May 10, 2019 - Sun Life Hong Kong Limited (“Sun Life” or “the Company”) would like to update its clients and the general public that the Company has introduced a refreshed logo in Hong Kong as part of a global logo change exercise.
Sun Life Financial Inc. has updated its global brand identity including the brand logo to better align to its purpose - to help clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. The senior management of Sun Life Financial Inc. announced the logo change at its Annual General Meeting in Canada on May 9, 2019.
Sun Life Financial Inc. is the holding company of Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada. Sun Life Hong Kong Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sun Life Assurance Company of Canada.
As a result of the global logo change, the Company will roll out client-facing materials and brand assets with the refreshed logo in phases throughout the rest of the year and into 2020. This means both existing logo and refreshed logo might appear on different materials over the transition period.
The logo change does not have any impact on the Company’s legal entity name. The legal entity name of Sun Life Hong Kong Limited remains unchanged.
