Hong Kong, Feb 17, 2025 – With Hong Kong being one of the cities with the longest life expectancy globally, retirement planning has become a pressing concern for Hongkongers. However, Sun Life ’s latest survey, “Retirement Reimagined: facing the future with confidence”, launched in Oct 2024, revealed that nearly half of Hongkongers only start planning for retirement expenses within five years of retiring, while 17% have no retirement plan at all. To address this, Sun Life is championing its "360 Worry-free Retirement” initiative, featuring from MPF to comprehensive retirement planning products and services such as savings insurances, aiming to encourage and partner with Clients to take proactive steps toward a secure and fulfilling retirement.

Innovative Product and Services to Meet Diverse Needs

Enhanced Professional Training to Support the Silver Economy

To cater to the growing silver-haired population, Sun Life has established the “360 Retire to Excellence Business Hub”. This initiative focuses on elevating the expertise of its financial advisors through a series of training programs, Client seminars, and educational workshops.

Promotional Campaign to Raise Public Awareness on Retirement Planning

Amy Lo, Chief Client Officer, Sun Life Hong Kong Limited, said: "To raise public awareness about the importance of retirement planning, we are launching the ’Act Now and Plan for a Confident Retirement Future’ promotional campaign from 25 February to 25 March. Through this initiative, we will distribute 30,000 free rewards to encourage everyone to take the first step toward retirement planning."

• Date: 25 February to 25 March 2025 (Every Tuesday)
• How to Participate: Follow the instructions in the social media posts in Sun Life’s official Facebook and Instagram pages or scan the QR code featured in the outdoor advertisements to complete a simple questionnaire for a chance a win exciting rewards. Clients who schedule a meeting with a financial advisor during this period will also have the opportunity to receive additional cash vouchers.
• Rewards: Dining, grocery, travel and entertainment vouchers.
