- Call HMG 24-hour hotline at (852) 8199 1119 and provide the required information:
o Your personal information for identification
o Your policy number and mobile number
o Your preferred network hospital or specialist (if any)
- HMG will inform you the turnaround time of booking and arrange the appointment
Step 2: : Get pre-approval
Complete and email the Hospitalization Pre-Approval Form to sunlife_pa@hmg.com.hk so that we can prepare your Letter of Guarantee. You will be informed of the status of your letter once our assessment is complete.
Step 3: Admission to the hospital or clinic
Present your personal identification document upon admission to the hospital or clinic.
Step 4: Discharge
In general, you are not required to pay any extra if the cost is within the approved credit amount. And there is no need to file a claim upon discharge or the day case surgery.
Should your medical bill contain any deposits, expenses or services that are not approved nor mentioned in your Letter of Guarantee, you may need to settle the deductible or shortfall upon discharge before making a subsequent claim.
