The Sun Life Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships cum Carnival is held at the Stanley Main Beach on the Tuen Ng Festival Day which is on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month. Sun Life has been the title sponsor of the Championships since 2018, we aim to promote healthy lifestyles and bring excitement to our local community.

After the four-year-long hiatus under the pandemic, we are finally welcoming the return of the Sun Life Stanley International Dragon Boat Championships this summer! To further embrace togetherness with our community, and promote healthier lives, this year’s event goes beyond a carnival!

  • Exciting dragon boat competitions – witness the thrilling games and celebrate the crowning glory of the champions.
  • Interactive mini-games – enjoy the fun and win souvenirs at our game booths.
  • Photo corner – take a snap with our drum props to capture memories.
  • Face-painting: immerse into the festive atmosphere with your friends and family at the carnival.
  • Water stations – provide free drinking water to participants to withstand the heat.
  • Recycling stations – recycle water bottles on-site at the recycling booth co-operated by The Green Earth
  • Free PA protection to paddlers – provide our paddlers a peace of mind to enjoy the race
