Sun Life Resolution Run 2019

Make a New Year’s resolution to live healthier and
raise funds for Diabetes Hongkong
Registration now open

[Hong Kong, October 16, 2018] – Title-sponsored by Sun Life Financial and organised by Asia Sport Connection, the third edition of Sun Life Resolution Run will be held at Hong Kong Science Park on January 27, 2019. The run features 10km and 5km races, a 3km kid’s race and a 1km family race, plus a joyous carnival to help raise funds for Diabetes Hongkong. Registration is now open.

“At Sun Life, we are committed to the health and well-being of the Hong Kong community, and through this event, we want to encourage everyone to get active and make a New Year’s resolution to lead a healthier lifestyle," said Belinda Au, General Manager of Distribution and Marketing at Sun Life Hong Kong Limited. "Also, by raising funds for Diabetes Hongkong, we can help raise public awareness of the disease and provide support to patients and their families.”

Diabetes Hongkong has been named as the beneficiary of Sun Life Resolution Run 2019. HK$20 will be donated to Diabetes Hongkong from every race registration, and extra donations are also welcome.

Sun Life Resolution Run 2019 has also invited four renowned local athletes – Hong Kong triathletes Ying Tsang Chun Kit and Leanne Szeto Shiu Yan; and runners in the Hong Kong national athletic team Zero Yu Hin Wa and Natasha Wong Tsz Yan - to participate as ambassadors and run in the event. For this year, there are two new awards the Corporate Cup and the School Cup, for eligible teams of corporates and schools achieving the fastest average times in the 3km, 5km or 10km races.

The fun-filled carnival will include a series of #BEFIT Challenge Games for participants to learn about their fitness levels, held at the Atrium Link of the Science Park. All are welcome to join.
